We've traveled I-44 for over six years going to see our family in STL area. Normally stop at the Outlet mall to stretch our legs. We've stopped for catfish a couple times and got yukkie bottom feeder catfish! Had bad bbq here, too. Yesterday Mimi found a cute lil place on Yelp. So we venture off 44 at exit 129.
Elm St Eatery is fantastic. It was about 4pm and we asked Alyssa what was her favorites and she said Breakfast. Breakfast it was! Mimi had the two egg omelette with hash browns and I had two eggs over easy. Both were perfectly cooked and tasted delis!
As I walked back to wash my hands I asked our waitress how the cinnamon rolls were? Ordered us one. It came before our meal which was my mistake! It was beyond delicious! To die for delicious! Stopped eating it when our meals came.
Forgot to tell you my breakfast came with two GAINT pancakes!!! Way too much to eat and everything was fantastic!

Outstanding food! Courteous and knowledgeable waitress that helped our family of eight enjoy a delicious meal. You get a LOT for your dollar here and it is very reasonably priced.
Clean restaurant! Down home atmosphere!!! It was AWESOME! -

We were in town for a wedding and picked this as a spot to have breakfast before our long day started. The service was fantastic. Our coffee cups were never low, and our waitress was very friendly. I ordered biscuits and gravy with eggs, and my husband had the country breakfast. The portions were huge, and my only complaint was there wasn't much sausage in the gravy. Otherwise everything was great! Some of our friends had the pancakes as a side and they were massive! If we lived here we would be frequent customers.

Nothing brings out the foodie in me more than a highly rated local restaurant. The homemade ranch was delicious. And I couldn't have been more excited over fried okra on the menu. I love visiting southern Missouri for all the fried foods. I had a hankering for exactly what this place had on the menu. Definitely recommend and would visit again the next time I drive down.
